hey guys, i just realised we have and hotmail and gmail account! Which one do you all prefer?! Anyways, today's bible study was good as well. Praise God:D

Here are some thanksgiving and prayer request.
-Pray for Jacqueline(Shirley's colleague), facing slot of stress now. Pray that she'll be willing to open up to God, not really willing here.
-Pastor's mother(had a fall) recovery.
-Aunty Mabel's throat(no voice), pray for recovery.
-Aunt Catherine's work training, pray for easy absorption and understanding.
-SW's driving test.
THANKSGIVING
-Charity's Visa approved immediately and would be able to get her passport on Thursday!!( Means she would be able to catch the flight!)
-Uncle Ken's business getting better.
-Jabez's joy although tired.

English BS

Yesterday was our first english bible study! And guess what it was fantastic! Didn't expect it to turn out that well but yeah PTL! Pastor said it was like a confirmation from God too:D Anyways, it was really better for those english speakings i guess. Thank God because although we had to have two groups of bs, we still get to meet every first Sunday of the month to worship God together! I know the Chinese group must have been fantastic too!:D By the grace and love of God everything would work well for those who loves Him! So please keep praying for both the groups and give thanks to God for He's so faithfulllllll!!

Ohohoh, and for those who wants to go for the sharing from a men who's changed by God and is now serving Him. He's a Chinese Singer who sings worship songs for God. I think he would be sharing his testimonials. I don't really know anything about the exact details so for more information go to Aunty Mabel!!

And last announcement, Sunday there would be a celebration at NLBC located near Marymount MRT, for Aunty Mable's birthday! And people, present is not required but it would be much appreciated if you guys can present an item (?):D Time is running out! It's like an thanksgiving and an out-reach opportunity so please pray for it!

CAPTAINS BALL 1.

Hi everybody, today, the youths had their first captain's ball training! :D
Afternoon service was good as Pastor preached about going all the way with God, instead of half way like king Jehoash, (refer to 2Kings 14:1-12) Oh Charity is back from Australia safely!!!!! haha its so great to see her, she joined us for afternoon service along with Aunty Mabel haha she's gonna preach next sunday, whoever's interested please come ok!! She will be heading to Bethel College in America this Sept. K so after the service, everybody headed to around caleb's place to have their early dinner before heading to the nearby badminton court to play. The ground was so drenched due to the near day-long rain but we had to make do with it haha. So our game had this element of clumsiness and extremely hilarious scenes as people tumbled, or endeavoured to keep their balance hehe. Most people usually ended up trying to keep themselves from slipping when they chased after the ball, trying to not let it get out of the court hahahaha Our teams were split rather fairly, with Bryan Shiwei Hongxiang and I on one team, Xiaoen Huiwen Caleb and Jabez on the other. Everybody put in effort and played well, it was a really pleasant and fun game hahaha chilled for awhile at the Fitness corner where Caleb overcome his psychological barrier/slight trauma and we headed back to c's place. Wanted to wait for Charity to come back so that we can learn a new song from her, but everybody ended up heading home first. It was a good day today, despite the rain and all. Thank you God!!

Updates on Prayer Requests: ( i compiled everything for convenience's sake)
1. Caleb who is thinking of starting a bubble tea stall, and he lost his wallet again! So please help to pray for it as well as his discipline ;)
2. XiaoFang, who's currently in China, 's visa and Aunty Meiqin's work permit to be approved.
3. Pastor's 91-year old mother had a bad fall~Pray for her health
4. Charity is applying for a visa to the states. Pray that everything can be done efficiently in about 4 days.
5. the English bible Study, which is starting soon. (It will be at Mark Kor's house in Jurong East!!)
6. Mr Ang's health. his liver and heart is slightly weak :(
7.India's mission work(children's home)
8. More strength for those busy, stress and tired with work/studies!

Hi peeps, we are having our Leader's Meeting, then the current updates and prayer request. Last Sunday there were actually 4 new-comers, ptl! And one of them, Angeline accepted Christ and said the sinners' prayer. Thank God.

And thank God Chermaine's faith was encouraged when she prayed for the rain to stop and God stopped it! Ptl:D Moreover she brought Angeline! Glory to God!:D

Ohohoh! And rejoice for the Lord our God has answered our prayer! HX's friend came to church last Sunday! There was actually prayer request for hx's friend before she came so ptl!:D

Sharing from pastor:
Last time there were this youth group called youth for christ, it's now no longer here anymore but it worked tremendously well when it was active.
1timothy 4:12
Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself as an example of those who believe.
It's very hard to be a good example but if we depend on the Lord, the Lord will enable us! Ptl! Amen.

Caleb's sharing:
Feeling dry, like in the dessert. Prayed but no joy. But God showed him a verse 2corinthians1:8.
Paul wanted the church to know he himself is going through alot. Despaired even of life. But we shall not trust in our self but on God. He can raise the dead. Felt that he went through this, god enabled him to be able to reach out to those who felt the same things in future.

FISHES SING

hi, so we went to fish on Sunday, throngs of people came hahahaha ok not really. so since there wasn't much pictures, i shall list the peeps who came :D
bryan's brother, sharon, weixiang and his gf came along with bryan.
hx and hw came shortly after caleb finished his 'business' and emerged from the bridge after everard and asaph. i was there, sitting on the mat with Pastor and Shennie, while xiaoen jabez sw narin and cavin Raj (hahaha) set up their fishing rods and blah.

it was cavin's, xiaoen's, jabez's, shiwei's and my virgin fishing trip (is it?) under the guidance of asaph caleb and narin. since singapore's been clouded with heavy rain recently, the usually 'fishful' river/drain/reservoir was sadly 'empty' so none of us caught anything. everybody packed up after a light drizzle and we strolled to Upper Thomson road to have our dinner. We splited ways there, xe and hw went off for a birthday celebration while caleb jabez hx and i headed to Woodlands Town Garden to continue the fishing. There, jabez and hx both caught fishes within an hour!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAH GOD LOVES THEM MORE ;DDDD (kidding!!)

so according to caleb according to asaph, the fish Jabez caught is an exceptionally rare fish whose name has temporarily slid off my memory base. HongXiang's catch was the most ridiculously awesome, that fellow was just idling and not even playing close attention to his rod. Then his rod started shaking and he took like 4 secs before he finally grabbed hold of the rod and started tackling the fish. Apparantly both jabez and hx were really lucky because the hook was stuck onto the fish in an accurate manner even though both of them didn't use any special tactics (?) (i suck in fishing terms ok) haha so god blessed them thank you so much!! hx caught a catfish, whom Caleb took home and planted in Fuchun CC's pool hahahaha the pictures are with him.

I enjoyed the day a lot because the place was quiet and just so serene.
Jesus Christ loves all of y'll. :D
